  • Esther:

Hello, my name is Esther and i was searching for where to go while spending a day on Cozumel. We will be in Playa del carmen for 2 weeks so plenty
of time to branch out… What do you suggest? we are VERY earthy people who love beaches and snorkling —- i loved your pics of Palancar.

our fav. travel spot so far was tHe USVI and USBI — esp. virgin gorda and st. john!

    • Hi Esther! You will have a great time on Cozumel! We really loved exploring the island and lounging at Palancar. Although we did have our masks and snorkels there are not reefs right at the beach so what there is to look at is very limited. The atmosphere is great, though. The restaurant and staff were friendly and they did have boat excursions from the beach. The east side of the island was so beautiful. The waves are bigger so you really can’t snorkel, but it’s so peaceful! The west side is supposed to have better snorkeling. We originally wanted to go to Chankanaab National Park, but decided to skip it since we liked Playa Palancar so much, but you may want to check it out!! We also toured the ruins which was something that we enjoyed more than we thought we would. Have fun 🙂

  • Jess:

    Hi Jeanette,

My name is Jess and my husband and I have been married for 7 years and are just now getting a honeymoon. We are going to Anna Maria Island and I was wondering what the funnest things to do there are. Any ideas would be welcomed.

  • Hi Jeanette,

I’m a (former) Commercial Pilot and I saw your article about the filthiness of the hotel TV remote control. I agree ! I used to use the plastic ice bucket liner, but its dirty too.
