postheadericon Colonial Williamsburg – Walking through History

Governor's Palace in Colonial Williamsburg

The quaint little town of Colonial Williamsburg is like stepping back in time and visiting a piece of history that makes you feel as though you are actually in the 1800’s!  Walk the paths that were once walked by George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, and James Madison and see what life was like back then.  You will learn from amazing actors portraying these historical figures as they share their knowledge about life in colonial times.  They will interact with you as though you are actually from that time and it really is a unique and interesting experience.

postheadericon Creep the Creeper ~ The Virginia Creeper Trail

This past weekend we headed up to Virginia to ride the Virginia Creeper Trail.  This is one of the easiest and prettiest bike rides we’ve ever done.  It’s a tree covered pea-gravel trail that takes you along rolling farms and running creeks crossing over numerous picture perfect trestles.  If you’re ever in southwest Virginia you must take the time to do this ride!
