postheadericon Visiting Epcot with Kids

Epcot

Epcot may not be the first park you think of when you’re planning your trip to Disney, but it should definitely be on your list!  Although it doesn’t have the big roller coasters that are so attractive at the other parks, it has something that the other parks do not….Worldly Experience!  Out of all the other theme parks we’ve been to, Epcot does the best job of sharing these other countries with you in a way that keeps both adults and kids engaged!  Does it have the same ‘magic’ that Magic Kingdom does, no, but it has many other reasons to fall in love with it all the same!

postheadericon Travel Tip: Disney Crowd Calendar

Cinderella's Castle

Travel Tip Thursday

Are you thinking about booking an Orlando Vacation, but are unsure of when to go?  You don’t want to spend your day waiting in long lines and I’m sure your kiddos don’t, either!  Check out this awesome, and by awesome I mean totally awesome, crowd calendar  from Undercover Tourist.  It will not only show you the best parks to go to on specific days, but it will show you how busy it’s going to be for the entire year!  The calendar is based on anticipated crowd levels, but in my experience, it’s been right on!

Dumbo Ride at Magic Kingdom

The iconic ride, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, is one not to be missed at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.  You know it, it’s located right behind Cinderella’s Castle and it usually has one of the longest lines…yep that one.  Well, on our last visit we were absolutely thrilled to experience the New and Improved Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride!

This area was previously known as Mickey’s Toontown Fair, but it’s now dedicated to the wonderful story of Dumbo featuring the Storybook Circus.   Dumbo the Flying Elephant features two mirror-image carousels flying side-by-side.  Not only are they able to accommodate double the people now offering to rides, but visually it looks amazing!

Voyager's at SeaWorld

During our last trip to SeaWorld Orlando we at lunch at Voyager’s Smokehouse and it quickly became a restaurant that we will make sure to visit again and again.  I’m sure it has to do with the fact that my girls just love bbq ribs and chicken, but we learned that it is much more than just a bbq place!  They have everything from fresh sandwiches, mac and cheese, ribs, fresh fruit, salads, cheesecake, chocolate cake, and much more!
